This Ain't No Dead Church! ~ I'm Alive!

Mar 1, 2026    Ibn Johnson

In this message, we talk about the pulse of a ministry, and the spiritual life that flows through a church.

Every ministry has a pulse. The pulse of a church is seen in its REPUTATION, and the pulse is also seen in its spirit, its doctrine, and the lifestyle of the people who make it up. What a church becomes is shaped by what is taught, what is emphasized, and what the people receive and live out.

The Word of God must be preached, and the people must have a heart to receive it. The scripture tells us to lay aside filthiness and receive the engrafted Word which is able to save our souls (James 1:21), and to be doers of the Word and not hearers only (James 1:22).

This message also emphasizes the importance of evangelistic fire in the church. A living church is a church where souls are being saved, lives are being changed, and the Gospel continues to move forward. The Apostolic message remains the same today as it was in the Book of Acts - repentance, baptism in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and the infilling of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:38).
